These song lyrics have been a source of so much hope for me. When I first heard them my heart melted. I was tired, hurt, resentful, etc. and was so frustrated with my circumstances. I was sick and spent a lot of time alone. The song was a reminder that our circumstances really are temporary. I realized I had already had better days and surely better days would come again.
I am not thrilled with my new driver’s license photo. However, I noticed a difference in my smiles. The photo on the right was taken in 2013. That morning I cried my eyes out. I was not happy and I was distraught in my current situation. Life was crazy and I did not want to take another breath. I was beyond done with life. For the third year in a row, Fred Hammond has assembled a roster of artists, musicians and comedians to hit the road on his inspirational tour Festival of Praise. This year’s line up is nothing short of star power. Fred enlisted R&B turned Gospel artist Regina Bell, legendary Clark Sister Karen Clark Sheard, Israel Houghton known for his high-octane praise and worship, choir-master Hezekiah Walker, modern worshipper and newcomer Casey J and funny man Comedian Earthquake. The tour is rolling through the Midwest October 20 to 26 bringing a fresh wind of inspiration.
